Album Review
Coldplay's Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends
Coldplay… that band that's sort of in between U2 and Radiohead. They're hard not to like, but they're also hard to really-really like.
But know, we introduce a new equation into the old Coldplay classics like Yellow and Clocks:
Coldplay + Brian Eno = Good
That's right. Brian Eno, that crazy music producer who's worked with some great people like David Bowie, the Talking Heads and U2, has know produced a Coldplay album. And the result? Yeah, it's good.

Viva la Death or whatever
The album starts off with a short instrumental, then proceeds to my personal favourite out of this one- Cemeteries of London, a good power song. The songs connect to each other very well, all delivering some dark yet positive message about death (and life, I guess). The other song I really liked out of this was Violet Hill, which you can actually watch live here.
Bottom Line
If you like Coldplay, you'll like this album. It sounds a bit too much like U2, which makes sense with Eno, but that's never a bad thing. Bottom line, it's good alternative rock music, that's all I really need to know to give it a listen.
